By far this is the best restaurant in Laois. In fact it is one of my favourites anywhere. I have never had a bad meal and have such faith in everything they cook that I have stopped ordering from the menu. Now all I simply say is "whatever". Add in a good bottle of red wine or whatever you prefer, this makes this restaurant even better. I never know what I am getting which only adds to the experience. Enjoyed a beautiful birthday dinner here on Saturday night last. Beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere, amazing food- I had sea bass and ever so tasty chocolate lava cake. Restaurant was busy but this did not affect the attentiveness and dedication of staff. Therese Hennelly

Christine making his debut in his hometown Chicago, crafts a straight-forward yet progressive menu drawn from his culinary influences from French technique, Asian heritage, and bi-coastal gallivanting. He transforms fresh and, when possible, locally-sourced produce into thoughtful dishes.
Our Sous Chef
Having left a career in the futures brokerage industry, Sofia Jeffrey chose the path of cooking with the aspirations of traveling. However after finishing his studies at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago; he set out to first put in time in the best kitchens in Chicago began to hone his skills.
